Studies on Management of Fruit and Shoot Borer [Leucinodes orbonalis (Guenee)] Using Chemicals and Neem Oil in Brinjal Solanum melongena L.

The experiment was conducted at the research plot of Department Agricultural Entomology and Central Research Farm, Sam Higginbottom University Agriculture, Technology Sciences, Prayagraj, during Rabi from November to February 2021-22 in Randomized Block Design (RBD) with three replications. Eight treatments were evaluated against , Leucinodes orbonalis i.e., Chlorantraniliprole 18.5% EC, Spinosad 45% SC, Flubendiamide 20 WG, Indoxicarb 14.5% Emamectin benzoate 5 SG, Lambda cyhalothrin 4.9% CS, Neem oil 0.15% EC control RBD replication. best most economical treatment (1:10.06) which par (1:8.51) followed by (1:8.44), Indoxacarb (1:8.04), (1:7.12) (1:6.85), (1:6.36) as compared (1:4.63).The data on percent infestation shoot fruit borer brinjal 3rd, 7th 14th day after first spray reveal that all chemical significantly superior over control. Ratio (10.85%, 7.29%), SC (11.95%, 9.12%), WG (13.76%, 9.79%), (14.05%, 10.47%), SG (15.59%, 13.46%), CS (17.09%, (19.97%, 17.43%). yields among significant.The highest yield recorded (222.50 q/ha), (198.33 q/ha).
